Be Thankful!

Tomorrow is the big day! Who is ready for that delicious food or time with the family??
Do you have any crazy traditions?

I am used to spending Thanksgiving with my family, in a large group....but this year, we are limited to just my Husband, our daughter and myself for our day of thanks.  While this is perfect time to become depressed because I am not in a large party...I am thankful that I have a Husband and child to spend this beautiful holiday with!

So, what does your dinner/day consist of?

Since it is just us, the portions will obviously be smaller...but here is what we are having:

Turkey

Cornbread Stuffing

Candied Yams

Green Bean Casserole 

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Brussels Sprouts

Red Cabbage

Dinner Rolls

Pumpkin & Apple Pie

Not too glamorous, but we will be having leftovers for a few nights afterwards! No big deal for me, I could literally eat those foods every day of my life! :)

As far as what we will be doing tomorrow, well the day will start off with food obviously...but we will lounge around in our PJ's and likely watch the National Dog Show.

Bella made a delivery to this very special mom at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Her son is undergoing his fourth open heart surgery and she received our “Warrior” Tag. Turns out, her son’s name means warrior. We are so grateful to have met her and been able to provide a small token of support to this courageous mom.

We donated hundreds of Living Lockets, ‘Warrior’ Tags and ‘Miracle’ Tags to our friends at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. We are so thankful for this opportunity to provide love to some very special children and families.
